AUTOMATIC BELT TENSIONER

It features Dayco's original, patented flat spring design, which minimizes operating range variation. This tensioner helps reduce the risk of premature accessory bearing failure caused by excessive tension and lessens the likelihood of belt noise, slippage, or poor performance due to low tension. It includes a PTFE string within the spring to resist abrasion and dampen noise, and a heavy-duty cast aluminum spring case and arm for strength and resistance to distortion. The tensioner also comes with rubber spring slot plugs and O-ring seals to keep contaminants out, and zinc-coated mounting bolts to resist rust.
