Designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade, installation is straightforward, requiring only basic hand tools and an estimated 30 minutes to complete. The package includes the shift knob assembly, a plastic collar, two screws, and two lock washers. This shifter handle is specifically designed for automatic transmission models, including GT, EcoBoost, and V6 Mustangs from 2015 through 2026. However, it explicitly excludes GT350 and GT500 models. It is important to note that some customer reviews indicate fitment issues, specifically with the inability to shift into park or engage other stops properly on certain model years like 2015, 2016, and 2019 Mustangs.
