The Nissan 31020-1XE1B is a genuine, new automatic transmission assembly designed as a direct replacement for specific Nissan vehicles. This part is manufactured to stringent factory specifications and undergoes rigorous quality control procedures to ensure reliability and performance. This transaxle assembly is compatible with the 2008-2010 Nissan Altima models equipped with the 6-cylinder 3.5L VQ35DE engine (SE, SL, SR trims), and the 2009-2014 Nissan Murano models with the 6-cylinder 3.5L VQ35DE engine (LE, LE/ROOF, S, SL, SL/ROOF, SV trims). It is important to ensure your vehicle's specific trim and engine match these requirements for proper fitment. When installing this transmission assembly, if clutch components have been removed, they must be reinstalled, and the clutch release assembly within the bell housing should be replaced. During installation, the transaxle should be maneuvered to the rear of the engine and aligned with the drive plate, ensuring the torque converter engages properly with the dowel pins. Before installation, verify that the torque converter hub is securely engaged in the pump and that its front face is at least 1/2-inch behind the transaxle housing.
