The BMW Genuine Parts 24152333915 is an OEM automatic transmission filter kit, manufactured by ZF, the original supplier to BMW. This kit is essential for maintaining your ZF A5S325Z 5-speed automatic transmission, commonly found in E46 3 Series, E39 5 Series, and E85 Z4 models. This service kit includes: Gasket (#24101423380) Screw Plug (#24117507555) Screw Plug with Gasket Ring (#24117552349) Oil Filter (#24341423376) Magnets (x8) (#24111206468) It is crucial to change the automatic transmission fluid and filter as part of your regular maintenance, rather than waiting for signs of wear or fault codes. This proactive approach can prevent costly internal damage. Please note that automatic transmission service is a complex procedure requiring specialized tools and knowledge, and is not recommended for the casual DIY mechanic; professional installation is advised. This filter kit is specifically for the ZF 5-speed automatic transmission (5HP19 or A5S325Z) and does NOT fit models equipped with the GM 5-speed automatic transmission.
