Overview

The ACDelco TF304 is an automatic transmission fluid filter kit. The filter media provides efficient filtration and excellent fluid flow. This is a premium aftermarket replacement part manufactured to meet specifications for fit, form, and function.
Show original supplier description
It functions by capturing abrasive particles, such as metal shavings, generated during transmission operation. This filtration prevents these contaminants from entering or blocking fluid flow, thereby safeguarding the transmission's internal components from damage. The kit features felt filter media that ensures high-filtration efficiency while maintaining excellent fluid flow to and from the transmission. Manufactured to meet the fit, form, and function specifications for General Motors vehicles and most other makes and models, this filter is a reliable choice for maintenance or replacement. It has a bolt hole quantity of 20, a height of 2.5 inches, a length of 12 inches, a weight of 1.5 lbs, and a width of 7.2 inches. Importantly, this kit does not include a transmission pan gasket; the original equipment gasket should be reused if it is in good condition. Programming is not required for installation. Customers have noted that while some descriptions might imply a gasket is included, this specific kit does not come with one, and the original gasket is typically reused. The installation is generally straightforward after dropping the transmission pan. For those seeking additional information or specific guidance, consultation with ACDelco or a professional mechanic is recommended.
