The Lemfoerder 22316784357 is an automatic transmission mount designed to secure the transmission to your vehicle's chassis. It features a robust metal frame combined with vibration-dampening rubber or polyurethane insulation. This component is essential for absorbing engine and road-induced shocks and vibrations, contributing to a smoother ride and protecting the transmission system. A failing transmission mount can manifest through several symptoms, including clunking or banging noises during gear changes or acceleration/deceleration. You may also experience excessive vibrations or rattling, particularly when the vehicle is idling. Additionally, a broken mount can lead to engine and transmission misalignment, especially in front-wheel-drive configurations. This part is manufactured in Spain and meets OEM quality standards.
