The Hayden HY678 Rapid-Cool Transmission Oil Cooler is engineered to provide superior cooling performance for automatic transmissions. Its plate and fin design, combined with patented internal turbulation, enhances heat transfer efficiency by 33% compared to traditional tube fin designs, while also minimizing pressure drop. This design ensures optimal transmission fluid temperatures, helping to extend the life of your transmission. Featuring a compact and space-efficient core size of 7-3/8", the HY678 is suitable for a wide range of applications, including pick-up trucks, vans, Class "C" motorhomes, and travel trailers up to 24 feet with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of up to 24,000 pounds. It is equipped with 3/8" push-on fittings for easy connection. The cooler includes pre-drilled mounting plates to simplify the installation process.
