Description

The TransGo SK A4LD-JR is a valve body repair kit specifically engineered for the Ford A4LD automatic transmission, designed for all models manufactured from 1984 to the present. This kit focuses on resolving a range of common operational issues that can plague this transmission. This shift kit corrects and prevents issues including direct clutch failure, soft 1-2 gear engagement, overly soft lock-up, cut-loose conditions in the 2-3 gear range, delayed or harsh engagement when shifting into reverse, late gear shifts, a lack of engagement into 4th gear, and an undesirable 1-3 up-shift at light throttle. It also addresses delayed lock-up release and engine chugging. The kit comes with essential components such as upgraded early and late center support sealing rings and a center support shim, all intended to restore proper valve body function and significantly enhance the vehicle's drivability.
