The Mopar 5273248AJ is a direct replacement transmission shifter, also known as an Automatic Transmission Shifter or Automatic Transmission Shift Levers. This genuine Mopar part ensures reliability and is manufactured using sophisticated technology to meet stringent factory requirements. It has been thoroughly tested for dependable use. This shifter is specifically designed for 2009-2010 Chrysler Sebring models with 4-cylinder 2.4L, 6-cylinder 2.7L, or 6-cylinder 3.5L engines, including Limited Sedan, LX Sedan, and Touring Sedan trims. It also fits 2009-2010 Dodge Avenger models with the same engine options, in Express, Heat, R/T FWD, SE, and SXT trims. Installation is the reverse of removal. The process involves disconnecting the negative battery cable, removing the center floor console, disconnecting electrical connectors to the shifter, and detaching the shift cable and BTSI cable from the shift lever. The shifter assembly mounting bolts are then removed to detach the shifter from the floor. Post-installation adjustment of the BTSI cable and shift cable is required. While this part is listed for specific 2009-2010 models, other listings indicate that the superseded part number 5273248AM fits a broader range of vehicles from 2007-2014, including the Chrysler 200.
