The ACDelco GM Genuine Parts Automatic Transmission Torque Converter is a direct replacement for your vehicle's original equipment, ensuring factory-fit and function. Designed, engineered, and tested to rigorous standards by General Motors, this torque converter is the same quality component installed during production. It is backed by GM and carries a one-year warranty. Constructed with a durable steel housing and center shaft, this torque converter features a lock-up type design. Its specifications include an outside diameter of 258 mm, a pilot diameter of 43.22 mm, and 36 spline quantity. The center hub has an outside diameter of 54.5 mm, a length of 30.5 mm, and an inside diameter of 49 mm, with a maximum depth of 138.99 mm. It does not feature a slotted center hub. This torque converter is compatible with a range of 2015-2018 GM Trucks and SUVs, including the Cadillac Escalade (2015-2017), Chevrolet Camaro (2016-2018), Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (2015-2018), GMC Sierra 1500 (2015-2018), GMC Yukon (2016-2017), and GMC Yukon XL (2016-2017). Proper installation is critical for torque converter function. It is essential to ensure the torque converter is fully seated in the transmission's front pump before attaching the bell housing to the engine. Failure to do so can result in damage to the pump gears.
