The BlazeCut TR100FK is an automatic, self-contained tubular fire suppression system engineered for enclosed environments where rapid heat buildup can quickly escalate a small fire. This system is ideal for applications such as marine engine compartments, vehicle engine bays, electrical equipment cabinets, and battery compartments. Its primary function is to automatically deploy an FK-5-1-12 clean agent directly onto the fire's origin the moment a critical temperature is reached, preventing further spread and damage. Installation is straightforward as the system requires no external power supply, wiring, or complex setup. The heat-sensitive tube itself serves as both the detection and delivery mechanism; when it reaches its activation temperature of 267°F ± 6°F, it melts at the hottest point, releasing the clean agent. This FK-5-1-12 agent is non-toxic, non-conductive, and residue-free, making it safe for electronics and eliminating messy cleanup associated with powder-based extinguishers. The system operates across a wide temperature range from -4°F to +194°F. Specifications for the T100FK model include a protected volume of 12.4 – 18.4 ft³ for electrical enclosures and 9.2 – 13.8 ft³ for engine/fuel compartments. The unit length is approximately 39.4 inches (113 cm), and it contains 0.27 kg of FK-5-1-12 agent. BlazeCut systems offer a long service life, with many lasting up to 10 years, and are maintenance-free until activation. A built-in pressure gauge allows for easy visual monitoring of the system's readiness. The FK-5-1-12 agent is also environmentally friendly, featuring zero ozone depletion potential and very low global warming potential.
