MIA's Description

This gauge includes the long 2258 sending unit. Underneath the pipe thread, the probe is 5/16" diameter and 1/2" long. In some situations, for example using a shallow brass elbow, brass tee fitting, or AN fitting, the 2258 is too long and you could purchase the shorter 2259 sender instead. The 2259 is sold SEPARATELY. The bottom portion of the 2258 will be completely surrounded in fluid versus just the bottom edge of the 2259. Both sending units are 1/8" NPT pipe thread.
