Automix Panel Bonding Adhesive

The 3M™ Panel Bonding Adhesive is a high-performance, two-component epoxy adhesive engineered for automotive body panel repairs. Trusted by OEMs, this adhesive is ideal for bonding non-structural components such as quarter panels, roof skins, box sides, van sides, utility vehicle sides, and door skins. Formulated for versatility, it creates a durable bond on properly prepared steel, aluminum, SMC, and fiberglass (FRP) surfaces. This adhesive can replace welds or rivets, providing a permanent, rust-resistant bond. It is also suitable for reinforcing welded or riveted structural components and can be spot-welded through during its work-life. The adhesive offers an extended work-life of up to 90 minutes, allowing for precise alignment. It has a set time of 4 hours, a time to handling strength of 90 minutes, and achieves a full cure at room temperature in 24 hours. Heat can be applied to accelerate the curing process, speeding up repair times. Packaged in a convenient 200 mL dual cartridge, it utilizes integrated glass bead technology to ensure optimal bond line thickness and prevent over-clamping. The adhesive is designed for easy application with compatible 3M manual or pneumatic applicator guns (sold separately), requiring no pre-mixing or measuring.
