The ThunderMax 309-592 is an award-winning, performance ECM specifically engineered for EFI-equipped Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Fully assembled and ready to install, the ThunderMax ECM replaces your factory ECM and oxygen sensors without the need for wire-cutting or splicing. Simply install the unit, load a base map, and ride; the system immediately begins self-tuning to your motorcycle. Its integrated knock control provides real-time spark management for precise timing adjustments, while the wide-band O₂ sensors continuously monitor the air/fuel ratio, making automatic, live adjustments across all throttle positions and RPM ranges. No dyno tuning is required, as all changes are instantly written to the ECM upon key-off. The ThunderMax software, available for free download, offers comprehensive tuning tools, diagnostics, and data collection capabilities. Note that ThunderMax ECMs use 18mm O₂ sensors; while most aftermarket exhaust systems include 18mm ports, factory systems may require the welding of 18mm bungs, which are not included.
