Description

The Generac 10000014761 Auxiliary Shutdown Kit is designed to bring Generac standby generators into compliance with the 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC) Article 445.18(B). This kit provides an external, independent shutdown mechanism for the generator's prime mover, requiring a manual reset before further operation.

It is compatible with Evolution 1.0/Sync 2.0 and Evolution 2.0/Sync 3.0 controllers. The kit includes two rocker switches, wiring, barrel-splice crimp connectors, and two decals. Installation is intended for the exterior of the standby generator enclosure. Depending on the generator model and controller, a firmware update and controller setting changes may be required.
