Auxiliary Fuel Pump Kit

The DSX Tuning Auxiliary Fuel Pump Kit offers a straightforward and cost-effective solution for enhancing fuel delivery in 2006-2013 Corvettes. This system avoids the complexity of internal tank modifications by employing an external pump that integrates with the stock fuel feed line. The included DSX Tuning controller leverages the MAP sensor signal to automatically activate the auxiliary pump when needed, ensuring consistent fuel pressure and flow without manual intervention or additional wiring. Constructed with smooth bore, PTFE-coated, crimped fuel lines, this kit provides leak-free operation and superior corrosion resistance, particularly against ethanol fuels, while also preventing fuel odor permeation. These lines are rated for high pressures and are tested to ensure quality. The system utilizes 8AN lines with 6AN connections for optimal flow, distinguishing it from lower-quality alternatives. It also includes a custom 74-micron filter and a one-piece billet tee fitting with a true push-connect design for a secure and simplified installation. The pump is mounted externally under the vehicle, with all necessary hardware included. A drill and tap for the fuel tank installation is available separately. Installation is estimated to take approximately two hours and can be performed on jack stands. It is recommended to have a low fuel level in the tank prior to installation. This kit can be installed before tuning, but to maximize its benefits, HP Tuners or EFILive tuning software and access to a competent tuner or dyno are required. Please note that a LS9 MAP sensor is mandatory for use with this kit. If installing on a non-ZR1 Corvette, the rail pressure is limited to 58psi. DSX Tuning covers its manufactured components against defects for the product's lifetime, while the pumps are covered for 90 days.
