Auxiliary Fuel Pump Kit

The DSX Tuning Aux Pump Kit provides an essential fuel supply upgrade for 2014+ Corvette models. Designed as a cost-effective solution to enhance fuel delivery, this kit avoids the need to access the factory fuel tank internally. Instead, it employs an external pump that integrates seamlessly with the existing factory feed line. At the core of the C7 system is DSX Tuning's proprietary PnP controller, which uses CAN data for activation. This advanced controller eliminates the need for vacuum lines or Hobbs switches, triggering the pump via CAN data from the parking brake jumper. The controller is integrated into an easy-to-install harness, minimizing wiring complexity. The pump activates whenever the ECM demands 500kPa or higher fuel pressure, featuring a soft-start function to prevent drastic fuel pressure spikes. A unique priming/purge function allows users to run the pump by simply keying the vehicle on and pressing the accelerator, proportional to pedal input. The system utilizes PTFE-lined, smooth bore, crimped fuel lines, ensuring leak-free operation and long-term corrosion resistance against ethanol, while also preventing fuel odor permeation. These lines are pressure-tested to guarantee quality and are rated for all fuel types. The lines are 8AN in size but use 6AN connections for optimal flow. The kit includes a custom-made 74-micron stainless steel pre-filter to minimize potential leak points and a one-piece billet tee fitting with a secure stainless steel clip retention system. Installation is estimated to take approximately two hours and can be performed on jack stands. It is recommended to have a low fuel level in the tank prior to installation. While the kit can be installed before tuning, full advantage requires HP Tuners or EFILive tuning software and access to a dyno or a competent tuner. DSX Tuning manufactured components are covered against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product.
