Overview

The AWE SwitchPath™ Axleback Exhaust is a valved exhaust system designed for the BMW F97 X3 M and F98 X4 M. It features AWE's drone-canceling 180 Technology® to deliver a refined sound. Constructed from 3-inch U.S.-sourced T304L stainless steel, this axle-back system seamlessly integrates with factory or aftermarket mid-pipes that maintain the OEM break point. It retains full factory valve behavior using OEM valve motors, requiring no extension harnesses.

The system is 50-state emissions-compliant and does not interfere with factory emissions equipment. It is engineered for a clean, straight-through design for maximum performance and is handcrafted in-house at AWE. The axle-back is finished with quad 4.5-inch double-walled, slash-cut tips available in chrome silver or diamond black.
