The AWE AirGate Carbon Intake for MQB vehicles is constructed of genuine 2x2 carbon fiber and can be used with or without the lid. Removing the lid increases turbo induction sounds. It maintains appropriate water draining provisions, utilizes factory mounting points, and integrates seamlessly with the factory ram air inlet. The included AWE S-FLO Filter is designed for easy service and maximized airflow, positioned in the direct path of ram air. This system unlocked maximum gains of 9 hp and 9 lb-ft of torque out of the Golf R when paired with stage 2 software.
