AWE Tuning VW Mk5 GTI Performance Exhaust

Cat-back exhaust system for the Volkswagen MK5 GTI. Features 0.065" wall T304L stainless steel tubing, mandrel-bent. Internal muffler and resonator are stainless steel. Constructed with stainless steel MIG and TIG welds and T-bolt clamps. Includes signature 3.15" beveled, double-walled exhaust tips with stamped AWE Tuning logos to reduce heat discoloration. Uses multiple slip joints with stainless steel band clamps for adjustment. Features a 2.5-inch diameter tubing, chosen after testing showed 3.0-inch resulted in torque loss at lower RPMs with minimal top-end gains for this vehicle. Designed to mate with stock or aftermarket downpipes fitting the factory exhaust.
