The Zumbrota Drivetrain RMTAX15J-5 is an AX15 5-speed manual transmission assembly for Jeep Cherokee models from 1994-2000. It undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process including three stages of quality inspection: pre-inspection, in-process inspection to ensure OEM specifications, and a final post-build inspection. All internal components are 100% inspected for wear, including gear wear checks, mainshaft straightness tests, and synchronizer testing. Each transmission is dynamometer tested and subjected to various real-life scenarios to ensure performance and durability.
