The Zumbrota RMTAX15J-6 is a remanufactured AX15 manual transmission designed for 1994-2000 Jeep Cherokee models. This 5-speed transmission is constructed with an aluminum case and has an integral bell housing (No). It requires SAE 30 transmission fluid with a capacity of 3.4 quarts and is not pre-filled with oil. Zumbrota Drivetrain emphasizes a rigorous remanufacturing process to ensure quality and reliability. This process includes three distinct inspection stages: a pre-inspection to identify case cracks or excessive wear, a second inspection during remanufacturing to verify component parts meet OEM specifications, and a final post-build inspection to confirm adherence to strict standards.
