Zumbrota Drivetrain Manual Transmissions are rebuilt to the highest quality standards using a 3-step inspection process. This includes a pre-inspection for case cracks and excessive wear, a second inspection during the remanufacturing process to ensure all component parts meet OEM specifications, and a final post-build inspection for strict quality standards. Shaft straightness, gear wear, and synchronizers are extensively tested. Seals are replaced, and units are dyno-tested for operation, shiftability, and noise level. The process includes an exclusive hydro-blast rinse & sandblasting for internal and external parts, followed by proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning.
