The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2290C is a remanufactured axle assembly designed for 2012 Chrysler Ram 3500 vehicles featuring a 4x4 drivetrain and Dual Rear Wheels. This assembly is built to exacting quality standards, ensuring precision and reliability. It includes a 4.10 gear ratio and an AAM 11.5 inch ring gear, specifically configured without Posi Traction. Each axle assembly undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process. All internal components, including ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are thoroughly inspected and tested. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced with new parts. The gears are meticulously inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and precise rolling torque measurements to ensure setup accuracy and longevity. Gear backlash is carefully set to guarantee proper lubrication and quiet operation. Furthermore, axle tubes are inspected to meet OEM standards for straightness. Zumbrota employs an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure for both internal and external parts.
