The Flashark FLES08044 is an axle-back exhaust system specifically engineered for the 1985-1989 Toyota MR2 equipped with the 4A-GE engine. Its direct bolt-on design requires no modifications for installation, and it includes all necessary hardware, bolts, and gaskets. The dual muffler tips and 2-inch mandrel-bent piping are designed to improve exhaust flow, reduce back pressure, and enhance engine performance. Flashark claims this system can increase horsepower by 15 to 25 HP and improve low-end torque, while also delivering a deep, aggressive tone. The fully polished SUS-304 stainless steel construction offers superior corrosion resistance compared to factory mild steel exhausts. This exhaust system is exclusively designed for the 1985-1989 Toyota MR2 models with the factory-equipped Quad W10 SW 4A-GE engine. It is not compatible with the Supercharged AW11 (4A-GZE) models, although chassis mounting points may be similar; users attempting to fit it on supercharged models must verify mid-pipe flange dimensions and diameter requirements.
