The K-Tuned B/D-Series Slave Cylinder is designed as an upgrade for Honda and Acura vehicles equipped with hydraulic B-Series and D-Series transmissions. It serves as a direct replacement for leaking, worn-out, or aesthetically unappealing OEM slave cylinders. The construction utilizes cast aluminum, providing a significant advantage over OEM units by preventing corrosion and ensuring a longer lifespan. Key features of this slave cylinder include a durable steel piston, which contributes to reliable operation and prevents leaks. A notable design improvement is the relocated bleeder screw. This relocation is particularly advantageous for turbocharged vehicles where the original bleeder's position often conflicts with downpipes, making clutch bleeding a challenging task. The relocated bleeder simplifies this essential maintenance procedure. Installation of this slave cylinder requires an upgrade to your clutch line, as it uses a 3AN fitting. The bleeder screw specifications are M7 x 1.0 thread size and an 8mm wrench size. For optimal performance and a complete system upgrade, K-Tuned recommends pairing this slave cylinder with their stainless steel clutch line.
