B/D Shifter

The K-Tuned B/D Shifter represents an evolution of their original design, incorporating improvements for enhanced performance and durability. This shifter utilizes a Delrin bushing, known for its strength, chemical resistance, high abrasive resistance, and low coefficient of friction, ensuring smooth and long-lasting shifts. A TPV bushing is integrated to protect the Delrin from contaminants. The base plate has been upgraded from stamped steel to a robust 0.35" aluminum construction, which not only prevents rust but also contributes to increased shifter rigidity and feel by eliminating play found in stock components. Additional threading on the plate further enhances rigidity and triangulates the assembly. The lower shaft has been redesigned to retain the adjustable throw feature, now adjustable from within the car. Crafted from 6061 aluminum with a black anodized finish, the adjustable shaft features a notched section for easy up or down adjustment of the throw, aided by a machined sight hole and a numbered internal steel shaft for precise measurement. The shifter elbows are black anodized with machined logos and edges for a clean aesthetic. Both the height and throw are independently adjustable. However, for D15/D16 engines, the stock steel plate should be used, and the billet plate on the base should be removed and the factory plate reused. It is explicitly noted that this shifter excludes EM2/ES1 D17 applications.
