B.F.D. Exhaust System

The Texas Speed & Performance B.F.D. Built with a 229/246 duration and a 110 LSA, this camshaft is designed to maximize sound and power delivery throughout the midrange and top end of the power band. This camshaft is best suited for 6.0L and 6.2L engines equipped with rectangular port heads. To achieve the intended performance and durability, this component requires the use of TSP/PAC .660 dual valve springs. A compression ratio of 10:1 or higher is also recommended for optimal engine performance. Installation of this camshaft requires specific supporting modifications for proper operation. An aftermarket stall converter of at least 3200 RPM is required, and a rear gear ratio of 3.42 or higher is recommended for the best driving experience. A professional tune is necessary to ensure the engine remains drivable while maintaining the signature aggressive idle characteristics.
