This gear set offers a 4.92 ratio, which can significantly alter the vehicle's acceleration and top speed characteristics, generally providing quicker acceleration at the expense of higher engine RPM at highway speeds. This specific gear set is designed for Honda B16, B17, and B18B (LS) engines paired with YS1, Y80, S80, Y21, S21, or S4C transmissions. Crucially, it is intended only for Hydro Transmissions that utilize a 109mm diameter ring gear hole. Proper installation requires attention to these fitment details to ensure correct operation and longevity.
