B-Series TPS Adapter

The K-Tuned B-Series TPS Adapter offers a solution for K-Series owners facing Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) compatibility issues. This adapter kit enables the installation of a 1988 to 2001 B-Series TPS onto RSX Type-S style K-Series throttle bodies, as well as compatible aftermarket throttle bodies. The adapter system consists of a two-piece design featuring a billet aluminum spacer for secure mounting and a specially designed round adapter to bridge the shaft and arm connection between the K-Series throttle body and the B-Series TPS. Included in the kit are a female K-Series TPS plug and three terminals, allowing for a wiring connection to the B-Series TPS without modifying the factory K-Series engine harness. The installation process is simplified by the identical mounting hole patterns between K and B series TPS units. Post-installation, a simple calibration is required, setting the TPS to 0.475 volts when closed and approximately 4.5 volts when fully open. This adapter is specifically designed for use with K20A/A2 and Z1 throttle bodies, or the K20A3 throttle body from the Honda EP3. It requires the use of a Honda MPFI J3TR60659 TPS sensor, which is commonly found on Honda models manufactured between 1988 and 2001. The kit is constructed with durable materials, including stainless steel hardware for long-lasting performance and reliability.
