Description

The Bilstein B16 (DampTronic) coilover kit is a high-performance suspension upgrade engineered for the BMW E63 M6 Coupe and E64 M6 Convertible models produced between 2003 and 2010. The system utilizes advanced monotube gas shock absorbers, manufactured in Germany using Bilstein's renowned technology. Each kit includes precisely matched springs and dampers, tuned for optimal performance for the specific vehicle application. The B16 series offers manual adjustment of damping levels, with 9 or 10 distinct stages accessible via a simple dial twist, allowing drivers to fine-tune their suspension from a comfort-oriented setting to a competition-ready sport mode. The threaded body design of the coilovers provides approximately 30-50 mm of lowering at both the front and rear, enabling adjustments for optimal ride height, center of gravity, and handling characteristics. Constructed with a durable, zinc-coated and threaded body, these coilovers offer excellent resistance to corrosion, utilizing Bilstein's Triple-C-Technology for long-lasting protection against harsh road elements. The spring plates and lock nuts are crafted from a special aluminum alloy, contributing to the robust yet lightweight design.
