The Honda Acura B16 HEAD VTEC DOHC Cylinder Head, model PR3-3, is a reconditioned unit sourced from a B16A engine. It has been meticulously re-machined from top to bottom. The procedures include resurfacing, installation of new Super-tech valve seals, and 3-angled valves and seats that are back-cut to match. The cylinder head has undergone pressure testing to ensure complete valve sealing. This cylinder head includes a B16 Camshaft, OEM B16A Dual Valve Springs with Steel Retainers, OEM Keepers, B16 Cam Gears, and New Cam Cap Hardware. It also features OEM Intake and Exhaust Valves with a 3-angle valve job, and has been pressure tested. Advanced cleaning techniques were employed, including tumbling, hot tanking, and vapor honing with walnut media to ensure zero contamination. Critical components like oil galleys were cleaned, plugs rethreaded, and new oil plugs installed. Any compromised valve guides have been replaced. This cylinder head is ready for installation. Fitment is for the 1994-2001 Acura Integra and the 1998-2001 Honda Civic Si. No core return is required for purchase. The warranty covers the cylinder head itself from the date of purchase for the original owner, but excludes labor costs. To maintain warranty validity, the heat tab must remain unaltered and intact; any damage from improper installation, mishandling, overheating, or alterations will void the warranty.
