The Braille B2317 is a specialized, lightweight racing battery constructed with AGM technology, engineered for demanding motorsport environments. This battery delivers a robust 1191 Pulse Cranking Amps (PCA), ensuring reliable power delivery for high-performance vehicles. With a compact form factor measuring 6.8 inches long, 4.0 inches wide, and 6.1 inches high, and a total weight of just 17 lbs, the B2317 is designed to minimize vehicle weight, a critical factor in racing applications. Its 12V system voltage is standard for most automotive and racing applications.

The Braille Battery B2317 is a lightweight advanced AGM racing battery designed as a high-performance upgrade from traditional lead acid batteries. It offers significant weight reduction, improved power output, and a lifespan up to twice as long as conventional batteries. This battery provides superior starting capabilities with high cranking amp output per kilogram and features a fast and efficient recharge rate, up to two times quicker than standard lead acid batteries.

Engineered for high shock and vibration applications, the B2317 can also be used in “Total Loss” systems without an alternator. It boasts a 5S PCA of 1191 and a 10s PDC of 1072, with a capacity of 23.0 Ah (276 Wh). The battery operates within a charging temperature range of 0°C to 50°C and can handle discharge and storage temperatures from -40°C to +60°C. Charging requires a voltage between 14.4V and 14.6V, with a maintenance charge voltage of 13.8V.
