B2317RP AGM Battery, Right Positive Terminal

The Braille B2317RP is an Advanced AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) battery, offering a high-performance upgrade from traditional lead-acid batteries. The battery is built for high shock and vibration environments, offering up to a 2/3 weight reduction for equivalent cranking performance. This 12-volt battery measures 6.8" in length, 4.0" in width, and 6.1" in height, with a right-side positive terminal. It weighs only 17 pounds and delivers 1191 pulse cranking amps (PCA) with a 23 Amp hour (Ah) capacity, equivalent to 276 Watt-hours (Wh). The B2317RP is recommended for racecars up to 3.0L with alternators or carbureted racecars up to 2.0L without alternators, and is a direct replacement for the YB16-B motorcycle battery and an upgrade to the PC625. Featuring unique convertible terminals, it accepts both 1/4" ring terminals and common SAE clamp-on terminals. The fully sealed design allows for versatile mounting in any position, including upside-down. Braille AGM batteries are considered non-hazardous freight, allowing them to be shipped by air or ground. The battery operates within a charging temperature range of 0°C to 50°C and a discharge/storage temperature range of -40°C to +60°C. Recommended recharge voltage is between 14.4V – 14.6V, with a maintenance charge voltage of 13.8V.
