The Pure Turbos PUR-B58-800 is a high-performance turbocharger upgrade engineered to significantly enhance the power output of BMW 3.0L B58 Gen 1 and Gen 2 engines. This turbocharger boasts an upgraded Billet Compressor Wheel and a high-flow Turbine Wheel, designed for maximum exhaust efficiency and capable of supporting over 700 wheel horsepower. It features an upgraded Center Housing Rotating Assembly (CHRA) for superior durability under high boost conditions and is precision balanced using VSR high-speed balancing for vibration-free operation and long-term reliability. The unit retains OEM housings, facilitating a direct, factory-like installation. Crucially, a custom ECU calibration is mandatory for this turbocharger to ensure engine safety and to achieve its advertised power potential. The kit includes a PureTurbos Hi-Flow Inlet, which is compatible with the factory airbox and most upgraded intake systems. However, it is explicitly noted that this turbo is NOT a direct fit with the Eventuri intake system. The product is covered by a Limited 1-Year/Unlimited Mile Warranty. It is intended for off-road use only and may require a core deposit or sending in your existing turbo for upgrade.
