The Spool Performance 5-inch B58 Downpipe is engineered to solve common issues found in other aftermarket downpipes. Built with precision craftsmanship, this component delivers significant performance gains, a distinct exhaust tone, and exceptional durability. Constructed from premium 2mm thick 304 stainless steel, this downpipe offers superior strength and reliability, especially under high-boost conditions. Unlike mass-produced alternatives, each Spool pipe features CNC-machined welded branding and the largest flex section available, facilitating a stress-free installation process. The 5-inch diameter is key to reducing backpressure, which allows the turbocharger to spool more efficiently, leading to noticeable horsepower and torque gains when properly tuned. This design also contributes to a deeper, more aggressive exhaust sound. This downpipe is designed for BMW Gen 1 & Gen 2 B58 2-Port/6-Port Engines, including various M240i, 340i, 440i, 540i, X3 M40i, X4 M40i, X5 40i, X6 40i, X7 40i, Z4 M40i, and 740i models from 2016 onwards, as well as the 2019+ Toyota Supra (A90/A91). It is intended for closed-course or off-road use only and is not EPA or CARB compliant; use on public roads is prohibited. Buyers assume full responsibility for legal compliance.
