The Active Autowerke 11-061 is a catless downpipe designed for BMW's single turbo, direct-injection B58 engine found in later F-Chassis models starting in 2016. It is constructed from TIG welded 304 stainless steel with a 1.5MM wall thickness and features 4.5-inch diameter piping to maximize exhaust gas evacuation. This design aims to improve turbo spool speed, increase horsepower and torque, and enhance overall engine performance by reducing exhaust back pressure.

The Active Autowerke 11-061 Catless Downpipe is engineered to unlock the performance potential of BMW's valvetronic, single-turbo B58 direct-injection engine, specifically for later F-Chassis models starting from 2016, including the M240i, 340i, and 440i. This downpipe features a robust construction utilizing TIG-welded 304 stainless steel with a substantial 1.5MM wall thickness for extreme durability. Its primary design element is the 4.5-inch diameter piping, which significantly reduces exhaust back pressure, allowing spent exhaust gases to evacuate more quickly. This improved flow directly translates to faster turbo spool, leading to enhanced horsepower and torque delivery. The piping tapers to 3.5 inches, incorporating a stainless flex joint before meeting the OEM exhaust system at 80mm, ensuring it never reduces to a diameter smaller than the stock 80mm. The downpipe also includes a cast upper V-Band for precise fitment and is proudly made in Miami, Florida. Owners will require an Active Autowerke software upgrade to prevent a Check Engine Light (CEL) when using this downpipe for off-road purposes.
