The Vargas VTT-B58-BREATHER is a one-way crankcase breather kit designed for BMW B58 engines. This direct-fit upgrade replaces the oil cap to improve turbo draining, eliminate crankcase pressure, and enhance engine bay aesthetics.

Constructed from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum with a black anodized finish, it features stainless steel baffles and a PTFE one-way check ball for superior oil control and ventilation. The kit includes a premium filter and clamp for optimal performance and longevity.

The Vargas VTT-B58-BREATHER is the first and only plug-and-play one-way crankcase breather kit for BMW B58 applications. It can be used independently with the stock PCV system or in conjunction with aftermarket catch cans for maximum crankcase pressure relief. The breather is constructed from durable 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum with a black anodized finish. Fitment is for B58 engines utilizing the most common oil fill cap design. It is crucial to verify your specific oil cap type, as Gen-1 B58 engines use a 2-prong style, while B58 TU engines feature a snap-in style with grooves. The breather measures approximately 2.5 inches in height from the valve cover oil cap area, with a filter diameter of 2-3/4 inches. Buyers should be aware that hood clearance can vary among B58 models, and Vargas Turbo Technologies cannot guarantee fitment on all untested applications. It is recommended to carefully test hood clearance before fully closing it. If the breather does not fit, contact the seller for a return and refund. Verified fitment with no clearance issues has been noted for the BMW 340i. This product is a service item and requires periodic cleaning as it captures oil from spent gases; vehicles with high crankcase pressure may need more frequent cleaning.
