B58 Downpipe Upgrade

The VRSF B58 Downpipe Upgrade is engineered to significantly reduce back pressure by replacing the restrictive factory catalytic converter with either a track-limited racing option or a high-flow 200-cell race cat. This modification is presented as a substantial performance enhancement for B58-equipped BMWs, promising quicker turbo spool, a noticeable increase in power, and a more aggressive exhaust tone. Constructed from hand-crafted, TIG-welded 4.5" SS304 grade stainless steel, this downpipe features a CNC 304 stainless steel flange for a smooth transition from the turbo to the mid-pipes. It is designed with smooth radius bends to minimize turbulence and maximize flow, and it fits both the stock cat-back and aftermarket cat-back exhaust systems. Options include a Heat Shield, Brushed Finish, or Cerakote High Temp Coating for the surface finish. The downpipe offers a claimed power gain of 25-30hp when paired with a tune. VRSF provides a Lifetime Warranty for the race versions and a 1-year warranty for the high-flow catted versions. The product is compatible with a wide range of BMW models, including the M240i, 340i, 440i, 540i, 640i, 740i, and 840i variants, spanning model years from 2016 to 2022 (and up to 2024 for some models).
