Overview

The VRSF B58 Downpipe Upgrade is a performance exhaust component designed for BMW M340i, M440i, M240i, X5, and X7 models from 2019-2023.

This downpipe significantly reduces back pressure by replacing the restrictive factory catalytic converter with either a race configuration or a high-flow 200-cell catalytic converter. This leads to faster turbo spool, increased power, and a more aggressive exhaust note. Constructed from hand-crafted, tig-welded 4.5" SS304 grade stainless steel, it features a CNC-machined 304 stainless steel flange for a smooth transition.

The VRSF B58 Downpipe Upgrade is engineered to enhance the performance of 2019-2023 BMW M340i, M440i, M240i, X5 40i, and X7 40i models (G20, G22, G26, G05, G07 chassis). It is available in both race and high-flow catted configurations, featuring a 200-cell count for optimal exhaust flow. By eliminating the restrictive factory catalytic converter, this downpipe reduces back pressure, resulting in quicker turbo spool, noticeable power gains (estimated 25-30hp with a tune), and a more aggressive exhaust sound. The construction utilizes a full 4.5" diameter, hand-crafted and tig-welded SS304 grade stainless steel tubing with a CNC-machined 304 stainless steel flange for a smooth transition from the turbo to the mid-pipes. Smooth radius bends are incorporated to minimize turbulence and further increase flow. The VRSF B58 Downpipe Upgrade comes with a lifetime warranty on the downpipe itself. However, please note that the warranty on the catted downpipe is limited to two years.
