The AKG Motorsport B58 Motor Mounts are modular polyurethane mounts designed for BMW G20 M340i, G22 M440i, and G42 M240i models. These mounts lock the drivetrain in place, eliminating movement to increase performance and facilitate effective power transfer. They are made from an exclusive U.S. Mil-Spec polyurethane compound and 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, offering a robust and rebuildable design.

The AKG Motorsport B58 Motor Mounts are premium, modular polyurethane components engineered to enhance performance for BMW G20 M340i (2019-current, non-xDrive), G22 M440i (2021-current, non-xDrive), and G42 M240i (2023-current, non-xDrive) models equipped with the B58 engine. These mounts are constructed from AKG's exclusive U.S. Mil-Spec polyurethane compound, noted for its elasticity and memory, providing performance comparable to metal mounts without the harshness. They also feature 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and a fully rebuildable design. Manufactured in the USA under ISO 9001:2015 certified standards, each mount is precision molded and CNC finished in small batches to ensure a perfect fit. The factory fluid-filled rubber mounts are prone to deflection under torque, allowing the engine and transmission to move, especially when worn. These solid, bolt-through polyurethane mounts prevent engine movement, ensuring effective power transfer to the wheels and increasing responsiveness. The NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness) increase is described as moderate to high, varying with compound choice and individual perception. Important fitment notes include: these mounts are specifically for non-xDrive models of the G20, G22, and G42 chassis. Additionally, the passenger side motor mount requires a proper heat shield to be installed at all times. The material used for the transmission mounts must also be compatible with the material used for the motor mounts.
