B58 Oil Catch Can

The BMS oil catch can addresses oil control issues common in F-Chassis B58 BMW turbo motors, which can lead to intercooler and charge piping contamination, gunked-up intake valves, and reduced engine performance. This catch can is specifically engineered for this application, featuring 100% CNC machining for a precise and long-lasting fit. It is guaranteed for the life of the vehicle. The design prioritizes efficient PCV ventilation with hoses that exceed OEM piping diameter, maintaining flow throughout the catch can to prevent excessive crankcase pressure. It retains the factory fully closed-loop PCV operation, preventing crankcase vapors from escaping into the atmosphere. The mounting locations are optimized for shorter line lengths, more efficient operation, and a stealthy appearance. It utilizes large 16mm+ inlet and outlet ports, exceeding OEM PCV sizing, and is precision CNC machined from high-grade aluminum. The anodized black finish adds a clean look. Installation is estimated to take around 20 minutes and includes all necessary hardware, with the system being 100% reversible. Captured oil can be disposed of during oil changes via the base unscrewing or the 1/8th NPT drain plug. This product is not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle as per the California Air Resources Board. The catch can has a capacity of 2.5 oz (74 ml) and includes an installation PDF. It is covered by a Lifetime Replacement Program. The catch can fits various BMW F-Chassis models with the B58 3.0L engine, including M240i, M240i xDrive, 340i, 340i xDrive, 440i, and 440i xDrive.
