B58 Tune

The bootmod3 B58 Tune is the world's first custom flash tuning platform designed for BMW F-series vehicles, now expanded to G-series models. This cloud-based solution provides a web interface and mobile applications for both iOS and Android, allowing for easy custom tune creation, ranging from stock performance to full race configurations. Developed in-house and regularly updated, bootmod3 offers a unique BMW factory DME tuning experience. This platform enables users to build the ultimate tune for their B58 engine powered vehicle, with the ability to switch maps seamlessly via the mobile app. The tuning process calibrates factory vehicle modules through the OBD port in minutes, offering convenience for home installation. Key features include over 200 datalogging channels (up to 40 concurrently), cloud storage for map data and logs, and real-time vehicle parameter monitoring via the "Live Dash" feature. Included with the purchase is the GTS Transmission Flash for DCT-equipped vehicles, along with one Off-The-Shelf (OTS) map. Additional "FREE" maps are also available. The system allows for reverting to the stock performance map and re-locking the DME. Users can also read and clear trouble codes, reset learned adaptations, and perform ECU power resets. Optional OTS tunes for various octane levels (91/93/Race gas/E85) and custom tuning are available through a directory of tuners or via the included full map editor. Map features can include top speed limiter removal, higher rev limits, switchable exhaust burble modes, GTS Startup Roar, recalibrated sport gauges, and the removal of cold start cat heat cycles (for off-road use). Maps for upgraded turbos, E85/blends, race gas, and meth injection are also supported, along with custom throttle mapping and backend flash maps for piggyback systems like the JB4. An OBD ENET cable is required and sold separately. Vehicles with November 2019+ software may require an on-bench DME unlock.
