The Bilstein B6 4600 shock absorbers are engineered as a direct-fit upgrade for OE shock absorbers on stock-height light trucks and SUVs. Featuring a monotube design, these shocks ensure consistent, fade-free performance. Their unique velocity-sensitive, digressive piston technology actively responds to varying road conditions, while application-specific tuning guarantees optimal performance. The B6 4600 series utilizes a yellow body and a blue rubber boot for durability and a distinctive look. Each shock is sold individually and includes the lower spring mount hardware, but no other mounting hardware. Compatibility is specific to the year, make, and model of the vehicle. For part number 24-021715, it fits the rear of 1988-1999 Chevrolet C1500 and GMC C1500 models, with a factory lift/lowered position. For part number 24-016971, it fits the front of various Chevrolet and GMC C/K series trucks and SUVs from 1988-2000, including C1500, C2500, C3500, Tahoe, and Yukon models, typically for RWD applications.
