The Bilstein B6 Performance damper is a direct replacement strut assembly engineered as a performance upgrade for your vehicle's original equipment dampers. Rigorously tested to meet or exceed original equipment standards, the B6 Performance dampers offer a tangible improvement in safety and handling. Constructed with a monotube gas-pressure design, these struts ensure consistent, fade-free performance. They are calibrated with valving tailored to specific vehicle applications, aiming to deliver a superior driving experience. The larger piston area and quality manufacturing contribute to extremely responsive valving, eliminating dead spots and providing consistent, fade-free damping. This results in shorter braking distances and enhanced overall control. This specific strut assembly maintains the stock ride height. All necessary washers, bushings, reservoir clamps, and nuts are included for installation, though factory shock mounting bolts are reused. Mounting plates are sold separately.
