The Bilstein B8 5100 Monotube Adjustable Shock is engineered as a direct-fit solution for lifted trucks and SUVs with OE coilover suspension. This front shock absorber allows for vehicle leveling by utilizing the factory coil springs and an adjustable spring collar, providing lift heights from 0 to 2.5 inches. Its construction includes a high-pressure nitrogen gas charge for peak performance in demanding situations and a durable zinc plate finish to resist corrosion and rust, making it suitable for harsh environments and salty roads. The self-adjusting digressive piston technology enhances road handling, reduces body roll and sway, and minimizes nose-dive during braking. These features contribute to improved overall vehicle control and comfort both on and off-road. Factory hardware, including washers, bushings, and nuts, is included for installation, and factory shock mounting bolts are reused. This shock absorber is compatible with a range of Toyota and Lexus models including the 4Runner (2010-2024), GX460 (2010-2023), and FJ Cruiser (2010-2014). Bilstein offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty on this product, covering defects in material and workmanship for the original retail purchaser.
