The CTS Turbo oil catch can kit is engineered for B8 Audi A4 TFSI and B8 Audi A5 2.0TFSI (TSI) engines to combat the detrimental effects of oil vapor buildup in the intake system. Direct-injection motors are particularly susceptible to performance degradation, decreased fuel efficiency, and potential damage to intake valves and flaps due to oil deposits accumulating in the intake manifold. This comprehensive kit includes a CTS Turbo billet aluminum valve cover breather, CNC machined for a refined finish, and a matching billet aluminum catch can featuring a dipstick for easy oil level checks. It also provides -10 AN Black-Series braided hoses, a clamp-on style mounting bracket, a modular intake manifold plug, and a Hose-Wrangler clamp for a complete installation. All necessary hardware and an O-ring for the rear PCV breather are included. Proper functioning of this catch can is crucial for maintaining optimal engine performance and longevity. It is important to note that during winter months, the accumulated liquid in the catch can may freeze, posing a risk of engine damage. Owners must pay close attention to the liquid level or consider removing the catch can during periods of sub-freezing temperatures. The kit is specifically designed for 2009-2013 B8 Audi A4 2.0 TFSI and 2009-2013 B8 Audi A5 2.0 TFSI models equipped with a black plastic intake manifold.
