The Bilstein B8 Performance Plus Strut is a monotube damper engineered as a performance upgrade for original equipment dampers, specifically designed to be paired with aftermarket lowering springs. These dampers utilize application-specific valve settings and a monotube design to maximize a vehicle's handling performance. Each damper undergoes rigorous testing to ensure quality that meets or surpasses OE standards. The B8 Performance Plus dampers are the ideal solution for drivers looking to enhance their vehicle's handling and achieve a sportier aesthetic when using lowering springs. This product offers the benefit of world-famous Bilstein quality and construction. Specifications include an extended length of 21.77", a compressed length of 15.66", and 6.11" of travel. It features a STEM top mount and a CLEVIS bottom mount, finished in Bilstein's signature yellow paint. The internal design is monotube, and a boot is not included. Factory hardware for installation, including necessary washers, bushings, reservoir clamps, and nuts, is included; however, factory shock mounting bolts are reused, and mounting plates are sold separately.
