The CanAutoPerformance CAP-IC-002 is an intercooler system engineered to significantly reduce heat soak and maintain peak power for longer in B9 and B9.5 Audi models. This intercooler boasts over 135% more volume than the OEM unit, with cast aluminum end tanks and a premium bar and plate core designed for optimal thermal heat dissipation, low turbulence, and anti-corrosion properties. This intercooler provides a substantial upgrade over the OEM setup, resulting in lower intake air temperatures and significantly less pressure drop. It is suitable for vehicles with simple tunes up to full builds with large turbochargers, and even for stock vehicles needing to replace a damaged or failed intercooler. The design also contributes to a more aggressive aesthetic due to its size. Fitment includes a wide range of Audi models: S4 (2018-2024, B9, 3.0T), S5 (2018-2024, B9, 3.0T), SQ5 (2018-2024, B9, 3.0T), A4 (2017-2024, B9, 2.0T), A5 (2017-2024, B9, 2.0T), and A4 Allroad (2017-2024, B9, 2.0T). It is designed to fit both 2.0T and 3.0T engines on these platforms. Disclaimer: This intercooler is not compatible with late-model year vehicles equipped with active grille shutters.
