The Baer Extreme+ Rear Big Brake Kit with 14-Inch Rotors and Competition Yellow Calipers delivers outstanding stopping power and reliability for rear-wheel-drive vehicles. Engineered specifically for performance enthusiasts, this kit enhances braking efficiency and heat dissipation for improved vehicle control and safety during spirited driving and track events. Featuring a single-piece Monoblock 6-piston caliper precision CNC machined from US-sourced 2618 Aluminum forging with a durable powder-coated finish, the kit offers both strength and corrosion resistance. The vented 14-inch rotors utilize a 2-piece design with slotted and drilled zinc-plated surfaces and a billet aluminum hat to optimize heat management and longevity. The 6S caliper is fully machined in Phoenix, AZ from a US sourced 2618 Aluminum forging, includes stainless steel pistons and abutments, D.O.T. compliant dust and weather seals and uses the popular D1247 pad type. Rotors are pre-assembled with NAS high grade stainless hardware. Baer’s unique backing plate not only acts as a caliper mount, but also houses a modern 1-piece park brake shoe assembly. Stainless braided hoses and hardware are also included. The 14” Extreme+ fits most 18” or larger wheels. Installation is moderately challenging and designed for direct bolt-on fitment without requiring any drilling of rotors or calipers. The kit mounts to the OEM Ford 8.8” solid rear axle using the included hardware and components.
